Dear Bolinas-Stinson Families,

We will begin expanded bus service on Monday, March 29, 2021, following recent health and safety guidance. We will do our best to accommodate as many families as possible, and will be prioritizing by need as space allows. If you are interested in using the school bus service, please contact Kara Perras at or by calling 415-868-1603.

Due to health and safety guidelines, all students who ride the bus must pre-register with the school and will be assigned a seat as space allows.

The following information is for families who have pre-registered their child/ren to ride the BSUSD school bus for the 2020-21 school year.

Thank you for pre-registering your child for our BSUSD bus service. We have implemented new health and safety precautions during the pandemic to keep our students and staff safe. Please carefully read the following information to prepare your child.

  • All students must have completed their daily health check through CrisisGo before riding on the bus. Please complete this before 8:00 AM each morning your child will be taking the bus.

  • Seating arrangements are assigned. Siblings must share a seat on the bus (up to 3 students).

  • Students must wear a mask at all times, disinfect their hands as they load the bus, and quickly and quietly sit in their assigned seat.

  • Parents are not allowed on the bus. The bus driver will help students who need assistance on the bus.

  • Students must wait to approach the bus until the bus doors open and stay clear of all bus danger zones.

  • Please observe safe distancing at all times.

    • Parents and students should observe safe distancing at the bus stop when waiting for the bus.

    • Students should observe safe distancing when loading/unloading and while on the bus.

    • Students should sit in their assigned seat, facing forward quietly.

  • Students should refrain from yelling or singing on the bus as this increases aerosolization.

  • No eating or drinking while on the bus.

Pre-K Students

We have purchased a five point restraint system (seat belt) for our Pre-K students. These have not arrived yet, but will be installed as soon as possible.

Please carefully review the bus schedules below by using the links below and let Kara,, know which bus stop your child will be using for pick-up and drop off as soon as possible. If your child will be absent or will not be riding the bus, please let the office know as soon as possible at 415-868-1603. We will keep you informed as the bus schedule is updated or changed.

We have implemented rigorous health and safety procedures to keep or students and staff safe. This includes: increased ventilation, disinfection of bus seats/touchable surfaces in between uses, assigned seating, safe distancing, hand sanitization, and wearing face coverings at all times. Please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions or concerns.

As always, our amazing staff strives to meet the needs of our school community. Thank you for your patience and compliance as we roll out our expanded bus service.
